PlayStation 3 has a Beautiful 7.1 Stereo HD Clarity Headset w/ On-screen Notifications unfortunately it isn't compatible w/ Vita, so instead of Sony giving an adapter for a compatible usage with Vita they decided that Vita deserves its own HD headset and I totally agree, because what would Cross Game Chat (CGC/XGC) be without the very best quality.

The PlayStation 3 headset will not work w/ vita as listed above however through Cross-Platform options you can game using your PS3 headset while other use their Vita Headset.

The Vita headset will have a similar design but will feature wireless options so it is correctly usable with Vita's Completely portable package.

No USB no Restrictions, the VITA headset will also feature a Surround Sound 5.1+ (meaning it will have Surround Sound of 5.1 or more).

No other information could be gathered about these headphones as some of this information was supposed to be retained, the VITA's Headset will launch either some time 2011-Early 2012 we have no further information except this Headset is going to be something worth buying and it will kill your battery unless they decide to keep it a Wired Headset.
